As
a business owner and resident of Dane County, I'm pleased that
Sergenian's Floor Coverings has been chosen to be part of the Mpower
Business Champion program. It's just good business sense to become more
efficient in the ways that we use energy and reduce our carbon
footprint. Partnering with Sustain Dane, the Mpower Partners, and the
City of Madison is a logical next step for us in reducing our
environmental impact.
On February 1, 2007, Sergenian's Floor Coverings initiative Wisconsin's first and only comprehensive carpet reclamation program. Quite simply, the promise was made that no carpet that Sergenian's Removes will end up in a landfill. Almost two years later, this promise remains unbroken, and over 1,000,000 pounds of carpet waste have been diverted from Dane County Landfills. Read more about their carpet reclamation.
